I joined the Groton Ag Partners team in 2015. I was born and raised on the Yost farm in Roberts County, SD, near New Effington. After graduating from Sisseton High School in 2002, I attended Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) before working at Dacotah Bank in both Sisseton and New Effington.
In 2005 and 2006, I served as a temporary Program Technician with the Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Sisseton. In 2008, I became a permanent employee at FSA. During my nine years with the agency, I worked with various programs, including acreage certification, mapping, DCP/ACRE, ARC/PLC, NAP, LFP, LIP, CRP, farm records, and payment eligibility. My favorite part of the job at FSA was helping producers navigate these different programs.
At Groton Ag Partners, I apply my experience to serve farmers across multiple counties. I assist our customers in understanding the various programs and regulations at FSA. I enjoy getting to know all our customers. I primarily work at the Yost Insurance office in Sisseton, but I also provide support at the Groton office.
I still live on the family farm, with my husband Tim and two children: a daughter Olivia and a son Jay. I enjoy raising my kids in the same environment where I grew up.
