I joined the Groton Ag Partners Team in 2016. I was born and raised on the Yost farm in Roberts County SD, near New Effington. After graduating in 2002 from Sisseton High School, I attended MSUM-Moorhead before being employed at Dacotah Bank in both Sisseton and New Effington. In 2005 and 2006 I was employed as a temporary Program Technician with the Farm Service Agency in Sisseton. In 2008 I was hired as a permanent FSA employee.
During the 9 years I was with the Farm Service Agency, I worked with most of the programs including acreage certification, mapping, DCP/ ACRE, ARC/PLC, NAP, LFP, LIP, CRP, farm records, and payment eligibility. Helping producers with all the different programs was my favorite part of the job at FSA.
Here at Groton Ag Partners, I am putting my experience to work over a broader area, working with farmers from across many counties. I have been helping our customers here navigate the various programs and rules at FSA. I look forward to getting to know all of our customers better and I work primarily from the Yost Insurance office in Sisseton, but also provide support in the Groton office.
I have two children, daughter Olivia and son Jay. I still reside on the family farm. I enjoy living and raising my kids on the same farm where I grew up. I am married to Tim Gleason.
